We’re really fortunate - we moved out to the country a couple years ago, and have 10 acres to play with. Looking forward to getting the shop finished so I can finally buy an off-road go-kart for the kids. =)

And more toys to follow. =)

And a dirt bike for Dad, maybe

I see one doodle, I assume there are more where that came from; oodles of doodles.

Where are all the Amish?

One doodle, one Brittan
y, and
one Lab mix named Little Brown Dog.

That probably would’ve been a lot cheaper and quicker! LOL

No chance of climbing out of that fence. Nice.
I use hot wire for the same effect. No missing animals ever.

Haha - looking forward to the day that they’re old enough that I can take
down the “
prison fencing”
. I tried putting in a hot wire, but damn if it’s not a challenge for
different sized dogs... The bigger one would hop right over (4' fence)
, and the little one would be off the ground
before it touched the wire where I mounted it. What a waste of time/money
(in my case).

Damn you and your... level ground. With no trees! But seriously, congrats, keep the updates coming! We’re looking at finally building a garage... maybe next summer. It’ll require a lot more work just to get the area ready, from tree cutting to dirt work. But sooo worth it.

Congrats, that’s awesome.
I lost the battle a few years ago of space vs convenience. Thus, we can walk my son to school (yeah!) but we’re in a suburban neighborhood (not terrible, but not ideal for me). I grew up on land and miss just being able to hop on a dirt bike or go kart right out of the garage and into the fields/woods/trails.

It’s definitely a compromise either way. We have lots of evenings that we can’t see
home til late because of kids’ practices, etc.
Thankfully Mrs. addiction loves the peace and quiet of
the country as much as I do.

Thanks! Hope you get yours next summer. I’d be happy to have a little more elevation change and more trees at our place
, but we do have some of both down by our
pond, thankfully.

So much space! I’ll never have that much flat land when I move to the PNW, but I’ll make do.

Looking forward to seeing what you end up with!

Haha - you might’ve been the one to reference this when we first bought it, but yeah, pool & and pond. =)
